FUNDRAISING THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR

Due to not being able to fundraise as we would normally do throughout the year we have looked at alternative fundraising ways to generate extra income and resources for school.

The Friends of St Joseph’s have continued to support school throughout this school year and we are looking at ways we can meet and re-launch our parent-teacher fundraising group in 2021. Watch this space!

Did you know that we’re registered with easyfundraising and you could help us to raise funds for the school at no extra cost to yourself?

Since our fundraising events are on hold, this is a great opportunity to keep raising much needed funds for the school. When you shop online, with over 4,100 of your favourite retailers, including John Lewis & Partners, Amazon, eBay, notonthehighstreet, you will raise FREE donations for St Josephs Catholic Primary – Dinnington.

If you’re not already signed up, it only takes a few minutes, then you can begin using the easyfundraising website or app straightaway – simply shop online as normal. This will be an enormous help to the school, at no extra cost to yourself.

We have set up an Amazon wish list for the school. As a reading school we are trying to provide age appropriate texts in all classrooms and a range of non fiction, fiction, fiction, poetry texts in all classrooms including a range of recommended texts linked to our diversity curriculum. We have included books on well-known individuals to inspire our children. We have included multiple copies of some titles so that class sets can be purchased of some texts over time and that eventually we will have a whole library full of new books and bookcases full of high quality, age appropriate literature across school.

All of the titles have come highly recommended by leading professionals in the field of children’s literature and early reading.

If you are able and would like to purchase a book simply follow the link https://amzn.eu/4zgj8JF

Make your purchase and it will be sent directly to us at school. It automatically adjusts the shopping list so books on our requested list are removed once purchased.

Thank you for your ongoing support
